Updated stats for:
a long pine javelin
a barbed steel trident

Also tested 'a blue steel trident', but its stats have not changed since the April 6 update.

The Wiki has also been updated. Still need to test a set of steel sai, and the various rare clubs and such that were changed a bit before.

Added the 3 new Rank 8 chest pieces. These have an (R8) beside their name, as well as an * denoting that they have not been technically tested yet, though their introductory post did give their stats.

Fixed the EQ kit sets. After adding in the Rank 8 chest pieces I neglected to move the kit pointers. Thanks to Shamara for spotting this!

Update (v3.2)
MVs regen display now functional, incorporates Race, Position, and Encumbrance effects.

While Hunger/Thirst and Poison also impact MVs regen, those effects are outside of the scope of this trainer and are not incorporated at this time.

As always, questions/comments/suggestions are welcomed.

Update (v3.3)
Thanks to the exhaustive damage testing undertaken by Hress, I'm now able to add a Damage display, which handles the following factors:
  • Level - determines bare-handed damage
  • 2-handed bonus - weapons wieldable either 1- or 2-handed gain an extra die roll when held 2-handed (remove shield to see bonus)
  • Ride bonus - lances/spears gain an extra die roll when used mounted (does not stack with 2h-bonus)
  • Hone bonus - Honed weapons add 2d4 damage
  • Master bonus - Masters add 2d5 damage
  • Strength bonus - For Str>14, add 2d(Str-10) - 8 damage (minimum of 0), eg. shown as [above 2d7-8] for 17-Str
For details on the Strength bonus, and how to display results in Anydice.com, please see the following post from Hress:

Have the default EQ sets been updated or are they going to be updated for the latest changes?

Only Thuvia (Russ3Z) can update the EQ Trainer and he has been busy irl, also the changes have continued to be fluid. The Wiki is also mostly outdated, but once the equipment and weapon changes have become stable I will try and get a process to gather accurate change data and see what we can do about getting both updated.

I think you should look into the possibility to tie the items in the eq trainer into single pieces of equipment in a database. That could spread the workload somewhat at least
